1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of information within the game Starship Roleplay (the "Game" or "SSRP"), which is hosted on the Roblox platform and owned by Starfall. This policy applies to all users of SSRP, including but not limited to those who participate in public and private servers. By using SSRP, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provisions in this policy, you must discontinue use of SSRP immediately.

2. Scope of Data Collection

SSRP does not collect or process personally identifiable information (PII) for commercial, advertising, or marketing purposes. However, data is collected for two primary functions:

1. Analytics: To assess and improve gameplay functionality, balance, and performance.

2. Moderation and Compliance: To enforce game rules and ensure compliance with SSRP’s Rules, as well as Roblox’s Terms of Use and Community Standards, including monitoring in private servers.

The types of data collected are detailed below.

2.1 Analytics Data

SSRP automatically collects non-personally identifiable data to improve functionality and optimize gameplay. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Game session metrics: Duration of play, frequency of participation, server performance.
• Gameplay interactions: In-experience purchases (game passes) and moderation information (tool usage logs).
• Exploit protection: In-game exploit protection automatically tracks users for exploit activities.
• Error and crash reports: Logs related to performance issues, latency, and debugging.

Analytics data is collected for internal development purposes only and is not shared, sold, or used for external commercial purposes.

2.2 Moderation and Compliance Data

To ensure fair play and compliance with SSRP’s Rules, as well as Roblox’s Terms of Use and Community Standards, SSRP may monitor and record specific in-game activities, even within private servers.

The following data may be collected and stored for the purpose of moderation and enforcement:

• Chat logs within SSRP: This applies to public and private servers but does not extend to third-party communication platforms.

• Player reports: If a player submits a report regarding misconduct, relevant gameplay and chat data may be retained as evidence.

• Exploit and rule violation detection logs: Includes suspicious activity related to cheating, harassment, or other breaches of SSRP’s rules.

Users who do not wish to have their messages logged and viewable by staff for enforcement and moderation purposes should not use SSRP servers.

Retention Period: Moderation-related data is retained only for the duration necessary to investigate and enforce rules. If no violations are found, collected data is discarded within a reasonable timeframe.

Use and Access:

• This data is not publicly accessible and is strictly used for the purpose of enforcement.
• Access is restricted to authorized individuals responsible for moderation.
• Data is not shared with external parties, except as required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

3. Data Security and Storage

We take reasonable measures to protect collected data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, given the nature of online platforms, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. SSRP operates on the Roblox platform, which has its own data security measures and privacy practices. Users should review the Roblox Privacy Policy for further information regarding platform-wide data processing.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

• No personally identifiable information is collected or shared.
• Data collected by SSRP is not sold, rented, or disclosed to third-party entities.
• Roblox Corporation may collect separate data from users as part of their platform services, subject to their own privacy policies.

5. User Rights and Control Over Data

Users do not have the ability to manage or control data collection on SSRP, outside of what Roblox provides them. However, users may contact [email protected] if they wish to erase their data, provided the request does not interfere with ongoing investigations or enforcement actions. Do note that data erasure requests will apply retroactively; if a User continues playing SSRP, their data may be collected and stored again.

6. Legal Compliance and Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Roblox’s Terms of Use, Community Standards, and any applicable laws governing data collection within online gaming environments. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time to reflect changes in game functionality, regulatory requirements, or security practices. Material changes will be communicated through an update notice within SSRP. Continued use of the Game following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
